OBGC girls and boys teams welcome skilled and committed players who are interested in trying out for the fall travel soccer season. For planning purposes, please contact team managers or coaches if you are interested in a tryout. See the individual team pages for coach and manager contact information.

 

Update on former Ranger Gedion Zelalem

May 13 update: FIFA clears Gedion to play for the United States! See the Soccer Insider article. U.S. soccer head coach Jurgen Klinsmann thinks former OBGC Ranger Gedion Zelalem is already a national team level player. (Fox Soccer article

Gedion made an appearance in a Champions League match for Arsenal in December. In the fall, he scored a goal in a UEFA Youth League match for Arsenal's U-19 side.

Gedion played for OBGC and the Bethesda-Olney Academy before leaving for England. Read more about Gedion.
