(Born between Aug 1, 2001 and July 31, 2002)

We are currently looking to expand our roster with committed, skilled and athletic  young ladies, including goal keepers and field players. Team Freedom plays competitive travel soccer in the WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer) league and practices year-around. Practices are twice a week in the Olney area. Team Freedom is coached by Jill Rutten, former international and US National Team player, holding a "B" license. Development and fun are our focus. If you are interested in trying out for the Fall 2013 team, contact Coach Jill or our manager Sherry Ogg (contact information below). Official tryouts will be held at the end of May: dates, times, and location TBD and posted shortly.

Jill Rutten

Coach Jill was a professional soccer player for 16 years in Japan, Sweden, Italy (2-time Italian champions), Germany and Switzerland. She was also a United States National Team player. She holds a USSF C license and currently coaches the U11 Olney Freedom, U12 Brit-Am All Stars, and the Maryland U14 Girls ODP team.

Emily Janss

Director of the Girls OBGC Soccer club and the assistant women’s soccer coach at Loyola University in Baltimore.  Coach Emily is also the Head Coach of the Maryland Olympic Development Program (ODP) 1998 Girls Team.
