OBGC Soccer Goalkeeper clinics will be run by Real Madrid goalkeeper Brian Levey at OSC Soccer Field off Route 108 in Olney.
Dates:
Mondays: 04/26, 05/03, 05/10, 05/17, 05/24, 05/31 and 06/07
U09 thru U12 girls and boys from 5:30pm to 6:30pm,
U13 and upwards girls and boys from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
All keepers need to bring a ball (size 4 ages U9 thru U12 and size 5 ages U13 and upwards), water and be dressed in proper goalkeeper attire, including long sleeve shirts and tracksuit pants.
Brian will be teaching techniques and ball handling skills needed to excel in this specialized position:
- Footwork, balance and positioning,
- Shot stopping,
- Dealing with crosses,
- Diving for saves, deflections and 1v1s,
- Kicking and distribution and
- Decision making and communication
This is an excellent chance for goalkeepers to learn from one of the best goalkeeper coaches in Maryland.
