OBGC Weather Hotline -- (301) 260-9004
Seasons: The house soccer program has a Spring and Fall season. The Spring season runs from the beginning of April to mid June and the Fall season is from September to the beginning of November.
Spring 2009 House fee is $100
Registration deadline is March 20, 2009.
Due to a growing program and a limited number of fields, OBGC may be forced to limit the number of players in each division. Please register as early as possible so we may have time to adjust if necessary.
OBGC Safety Alert on Earrings
The Olney Boys and Girls Club (OBGC) wants to remind all parents and players that earrings are not allowed to be worn at any game, practice or clinic. This restriction applies to all age groups.
OBGC recommends players who are planning to get their ears pierced wait until the end of the fall season to do so. Players who get the ears pierced before the season will not be allowed to cover them with tape or band-aids; if players cannot remove new ear piercing due to medical restrictions, then they will not be allowed to participate until they can do so.
For the safety of all our players, the no-earring policy will be strictly enforced by all directors, coaches and referees.
OBGC thanks you for your co-operation.
NEW FORMAT FOR U11/12 BOYS AND GIRLS - All games will now be 8 v 8 on a small sided field.
Advantages of playing small sided games:
Benefits to the Child:

-
More actual playing time
-

While learning both defense and offense, a player will become more complete and will understand more readily the roles and importance of teammates
