The OBGC Celtic is a boys U14 soccer team. It is ranked among the top teams in the state of Maryland by gotsoccer.com and rising fast. The team plays in Division 1 of the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL), the premier boys travel league in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Celtic also compete in various local and regional tournaments. They are coached by Pete Wood, who is Director of Coaching for OBGC and highly regarded by his peers. He is a former Sheffield Wednesday schoolboy in England and for over 15 years has coached youth soccer teams in America to local, regional and national championships.  From 1989 to 1996 he served as Major League Soccer's camp director and in 2006 was named coach of the year by the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association.

Celtic - OBGC Capital Cup 2009 Champion

The Celtic won the 2009 OBGC Capital Cup Championship defeating the Baltimore Bays United 2-1 in a close match. In advancing to the championship round, the Celtic defeated Crofton Athletic Council Blast 2-0, tied PA United Grifos 95 1-1 in a closely fought match and defeated NCSL rival Stafford Area SA Revolution 95 Blue 2-0.

Celtic - OBGC Capital Cup 2008 Champion

The Celtic won the 2008 OBGC Capital Cup Championship defeating Mclean MPS 95 Titans Green 3-1. The Celtic also tied the YMS Pressure 1-1 and defeated Freestate Real 3-1 to advance to the championship round.

Celtic - VA Beach Columbus Day 2008 Champion

The Celtic won the 2008 Virginia Beach Columbus Day Tournament Championship defeating Chesterfield United FC 95 Elite 4-0. The Celtic went undefeated in this tournament and its stingy defense allowed only one goal in advancing past Severna Park Green Hornets Inferno 3-0, PA Classics Premier 95 5-0, and Churchland SL Junkyard Dawgs 2-1.
